Cadbury is running a television, online and outdoor advertising campaign in Australia to relaunch the Boost chocolate bar. Fans are invited to take part in the campaign by contributing end lines to sitcom-style vignettes featuring university student Richard and his six foot tall chocolate bar spearhead. The Boost flatmate is voiced by English comedian Marc Wooton, the star of High Spirits with Shirley Ghostman (2005), and La La Land (2010). See the campaign online at YouTube and Facebook.

The Boost campaign was developed at George Patterson Y&R Melbourne by executive creative director Ben Coulson, art director Chris Northam, copywriter Simon Bagnasco, agency producer Romanca Jasinski, group account director Mike Napolitano, head of planning Kate Smither, head of digital planning Luc Wiesman, social media manager Zac Martin, with Cadbury team Mike Busutill, Kate Watson and Trevor Newman.
‘We had fun taking a few of the classic chocolate bar conventions, putting them in a little boat and pushing them out to sea. Thankfully Cadbury and a heap of young blokes in research felt the same,’ said GPY&R Melbourne ECD Ben Coulson.
Filming was shot by director Tim Godsall via Revolver with executive producer Michael Richie, producer Georgina Wilson.
