Boost Mobile Super Bowl Shuffle

Boost Mobile is bringing back the Super Bowl Shuffle, a music video performed by players of the Chicago Bears football team before their performance against the Miami Dolphins in 1985 in the lead up to the Super Bowl XX. Twenty five years later seven of those players are back with Coach Ditka, online at boostmobile.com/shuffle, YouTube and Facebook.

Members of the Chicago Bears Shufflin’ Crew, Samurai Mike Singletary, Punky QB Jim McMahon, Willie Gault, Otis Wilson, Richard Dent, Steve Fuller and Maury Buford are set to appear during the Super Bowl 2010 broadcast, with a cameo appearance from Coach Mike Ditka. Buford’s hat, McMahon’s headband and shade are being auctioned off to the highest bidder. Jim McMahon, whose McMahon Headband’s short messages predated Twitter by 25 years, has been given a Twitter channel.

The Super Bowl Shuffle campaign is being developed at 180 Los Angeles, by executive creative director William Gelner, creative directors Gavin Milner and Grant Holland, copywriter Eric Helin, art director Erwin Federizo, head of production/managing partner Peter Cline, senior producer Colleen Wellman.

Filming was shot by comedy duo Tim and Eric (Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim) via Paydirt Productions with director/director of photography Andrew Shulkind, executive producers Jonathan Ker and Jeremy Barrett.

Editor was Ben Berman via Absolutely with executive produce Dave Kneebone.

Transfer facility was Moving Pictures Company. Online editing and VFX was done at The Mill by Henry/Flame artist Phil Crowe, head of production Sue Troyan and producer Krystina Shales.
