Best Buy has provided a tie-in for the Despicable Me animated movie featuring Gru (Steve Carell) and his army of naughty genetically-altered Corn Pops called minions. The Best Buy Movie Mode app uses the Minionator to translate every hilarious word the Minions are saying during the 3D end credits of Despicable Me, and unlocks even more exclusive content after the show. It’s the only mobile app that syncs with the movie screen to give you a one-of-a-kind experience. The app is being promoted in a cinema advertisement, “Minion Love”, in which two Minions interact with the woman touting the Movie Mode experience.
