Berlin Philharmonic 128 Stars 1 Orchestra

The Berliner Philharmoniker (Berlin Philharmonic) is an orchestra located in the Philharmonie in Berlin, Germany. Founded in 1882, 128 years ago, the orchestra is composed of 128 world class musicians operating as a democratic, self-governing organisation. Scholz & Friends designed posters for each of the 128 soloists to create “128 Virtuosen – 1 Orchester” (128 Stars – 1 Orchestra), winning a Bronze for Posters at the 2010 Clio Awards. Featured below are 1st violinist Kotowa Machida and Simon Bernardini, 2nd violinists Armin Schubert and Daniel Bell, principal cellist/media chairman Olaf Maninger, and conductor Simon Rattle. See more posters from the campaign on the orchestra’s Facebook photo album.
