48 Hour YouTube Cannes Young Lions Ads
Over 500 people between the ages of 18 and 28 have entered the 48 Hour YouTube Cannes Young Lions Ad Contest, competing for a chance to travel free to Cannes International Advertising Festival in June and compete in the Young Lions Film Competition. The brief this year is a 30 to 60 seconds ad for the Wateraid summer campaign, “Don’t Let it Drop”, encouraging viewers to sign WaterAid’s new petition demanding that world leaders do not let water and sanitation drop from the international agenda when they meet to review the progress of the Millennium Development Goals in September. The filmmakers now have until May 23 to get as many people to view their films as possible on the Cannes Lions YouTube channel. Below we’re including all videos from people who send us their entries, using the submission form.
