180 Amsterdam and Los Angeles, as well as working on the Adidas campaign for the FIFA World Cup in South Africa, have been helping some of the world’s least privileged football teams. Richard Bullock, 180’s ex-executive creative director and friend of the agency went to South Africa to ask children from Chintsa East Primary and Bulugha Farm School to create team logos for a set of shirts to play in. 180 Amsterdam’s football team finessed the concept before releasing sets of brand new, shiny Adidas uniforms for two football teams and a netball team.

Andy Fackrell ECD at 180 Amsterdam, says, “We love leveraging players like Lionel Messi to superstar status. But what we also want to do is to help the players that no one has ever heard about. So we have used our World Cup expertise to try to support some of the smallest teams based in the country hosting the 2010 World Cup.”
