Walmart is showing an instore video, “Thanks from a Girl”, to affirm green choices in the shopping environment. Using cold-water laundry detergent or switching to CFL light bulbs may not seem like big ways of going green, but when 200 million Wal-Mart shoppers make those changes, the positive impacts on the environment can be huge.
Thanks From A Girl features a young girl playing on a beach. As she carves out a message in the sand, she thanks Wal-Mart customers the world over for doing their part to make the world a greener place for future generations. With its dedication to the environment and low prices, Wal-Mart has made going green more affordable than ever.
