Volkswagen’s 510 navigation system is presented as a combination of direction and entertainment in a print advertising campaign featuring Michael Jackson, Freddie Mercury and John Travolta. The Volkswagen Entertainers campaign was developed at DDB/a> Berlin by executive creative directors Stefan Schulte and Bert Peulecke, art directors Kristoffer Heilemann and Gabriel Mattar, copywriters Ludwig Berndl, Philip Bolland and Ricardo Wolff.
The Volkswagen Entertainers campaign won several awards in 2008, including a Gold for Poster at Montreux, a Bronze for Press at Cannes, an award for Press at The Cresta Awards, a Gold for Press and Poster and a Bronze for Print at Eurobest, and a Silver at Adprint.
