Virgin Media‘s first mobile phone TV advert since the company was formed in 2007 shows how a mobile phone can change the mundane everyday habits of a train journey into a fantastical journey of adventure.
Fantastic Journey showcases the power of the internet on a Virgin mobile phone, travelling through music, film, games and social media. The stunning commercial was shot anamorphic (widescreen) to create a cinematic look.

The Fantastic Journey was developed at RKCR/Y&R by creative director Mark Roalfe, art director Paul Angus, copywriter Ted Health, account director Priya Patel, account planner Ben Kay and Bruno Frankel, agency producer Danielle Sandler, account manager Katey-Ellen Price.
Post Production was done at Moving Picture Company, London, by producer Chris Allen, VFX supervisors Jim Radford, Matthew Unwin, VFX team Stirling Archibald, James Bailey, Matthew Unwin, and colourist Jean Clement Soret.
Sound was designed at Grand Central Studios by Ben Leeves. Music is “Into Dust”, by Mazzy Star.
