Toy Soldiers in NZ Army Now Recruiting

The NZ Army’s Toy Soldiers print advertising campaign has won a gold for magazine campaign at the 2009 CAANZ AXIS awards, along with two Silver awards for Single Magazine advertisements. The campaign uses toy soldiers representing a chef and a psychologist to remind readers that the NZ Army provides training and a future in a wide range of careers.

The NZ Army Toy Soliders campaign was developed at Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand by executive creative director Mike O’Sullivan, creative director Tim Hall, art director Samantha Brown, copywriter Kate Catalinac, general account director Nicola Harvey, account director Dennis de Reus, account manager Campbell Moore, 3D artists David Partridge and Andre McGrail (3D Cluster), retoucher Nick Smith, working with NZ Army officers Major Sara Harrison and WO1 Todd Groombridge.
