St Matthew in the City, a progressive Anglican church in Auckland, New Zealand, ran a billboard this Easter promoting a conversation on the truth of the Christian gospel message around crucifixion and resurrection. A sign is nailed on a cross with the message, “This billboard will rise again. (Next Easter probably). Gospel. Truth?”. Large nails drip with red paint.
The Billboard cross/resurrection campaign was developed at M&C Saatchi Auckland by executive creative director Todd Waldron, art directors/copywriters Colin Mitchell and Alex Dyer, account manager Jo Harwood, group account director James Johnston, agency producer Rob Leach, and retoucher Woody. The billboard was installed by Billboard Solutions.
