Simon Community Christmas On The Pavement

Simon Community in Ireland is reminding people about the realities faced by many people struggling with homelessness over Christmas, with a print advertising campaign featuring abandoned Christmas trees. Lying on the pavement, the trees symbolise the changes in circumstance faced by people who have been abandoned and forgotten, become suddenly redundant, and gone from home to street in weeks.

The advertising campaign is associated with the House of Cards fundraiser in which Irish companies donate their annual Christmas card budget to Simon Community instead of sending out traditional corporate Christmas cards.
