Red Cross Hope Store in Lisbon
Red Cross Portugal (Cruz Vermelha) opened up Hope Store, a temporary store developed for the Christmas 2008 season by Leo Burnett Publicidade. The Portuguese Red Cross raised funds for its main causes during the Christmas Season with the sale of a new product: Hope, available at a retail store inside a popular shopping mall in Lisbon. Hope was promoted as a product you can feel but not see, touch, wear or hear, the perfect gift alternative for Christmas.

The Red Cross in Lisbon opened up a temporary retail shop in Monumental shopping mall in Lisbon to sell “hope” through direct donations to the organization. The store, promoted through traditional ad mediums, sold little cards valued at 10 euros to raise funds for its local Red Cross over the Christmas period.
