Panasonic Big Screen Birth

Panasonic is promoting its SD storage card in Australia with a new campaign showing a couple suffering an embarrassing situation in an electronics store. Panasonic is targeting the KISSers, those who need their technology simple (Keep It Simple Stupid). The ad’s solution is designed to show just how easy it is to record, remember and share special events with the SD card using data with the range of LUMIX cameras or camcorders, playing in VIERA TVs, DVD and Blu-ray recorders for playback or permanent storage.

The new season of UK football on Sky Sports and Sky Terrestrial networks has been kicked off with “Start of Season”, a TV advert designed to pick up the emotions felt by football fans everywhere.

A couple with a young baby visit the store to buy a big screen TV. An overly-helpful assistant puts their SD card from their Lumix camera into a Viera plasma TV. Before anyone knows what’s happening the whole store is treated to multiple big screen renditions of the mother’s recent birth video.
