Australian automobile assistance company NRMA has launched “Alone”, a television commercial evoking the vulnerability faced by drivers who break down on unfamiliar roads. “Alone” first aired on September 6, 2009, features a woman whose car breaks down on a busy highway. Her phone calls to friends are not answered. When she finally gets out of the car she is stunned to discover she is all alone.
The Alone spot was developed at Leo Burnett, Sydney, by creative directors Andy DiLallo and Jay Benjamin, group head Gary Dawson, creatives Dan Oliva and Rob Kleckner, agency producer Rita Gagliardi.
