NOAH Menschen für Tiere e.V. (People for Animals) presents Bottles, a print advertising campaign connecting the death of animals in the laboratory to perfume labels. Torture, Mort and Victime are presented with a rat, frog and chicken, with the French words, “Pour l’industrie cosmétique”. Small print invites readers to donate to the NOAH cause. The use of French language in a campaign designed for Germany is not about bashing France. It’s merely using the preferred language of the perfume industry.
The Bottles campaign was developed at Jung von Matt/Elbe, Hamburg, by executive creative directors Wolf Heumann, Dirk Haeusermann, creative directors Christian Fritsche, Peter Kirchhoff, art director Kay Potthoff, copywriter Frank Seiler, account executive Guido Kirschner, Katrin Stoecklmayer and photographer Ulrich Hoppe.
