The V&A’s Museum of Childhood in London enticed parents and children through its doors over the Christmas holidays, 2008/2009, with a print advertising campaign designed at AMV BBDO. One of the three print ads, “Inner Child”, won gold awards for best art direction and best illustration, a silver award for best press advertisement, and a bronze award for best portrait poster at the Creative Circle Awards in London in March 2009. “Playing” won bronze awards for Best Regional Press Advertisement and best art direction. “Memory Back Guarantee” won bronze awards for Best Press Advertisement, Best Art Direction, Best Typography. The ads evoke a sense of nostalgia to show that parents will enjoy their time at the museum as much as their children.
