MTV Video Music Awards 2009

Nominations are up for the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, scheduled for September 13, at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Comedian Russell Brand will host the show for a second year in a row. Performing at the MVA show will be Green Day, “Do You Know Your Enemy”. P!nk will be singing something from her smash album Funhouse, along with Taylor Swift (You Belong With Me) and Muse (Uprising). Winners in each category are presented with a “Moon Man”, a statue of an astronaut.
