BMW’s MINI is sharing a laugh with a viral within a viral, featuring two guys witnessing stunt Mini Cooper Clubman drivers on the German autobahn near Munich. The video, launched on YouTube, introduces the new entry level Mini One Clubman which was launched at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2009. Mini says the One Clubman, despite its smaller engine, will have the same handling dynamics as the hatch.

The video starts with two drivers on the Munich autobahn, British in nationality judging by the singing of the music hall song, “I do like to be beside the seaside”. They provide a droll commentary on the stunts, including J turns, back flips and side flips. “Just because he’s tailgating that guy it doesn’t mean we have to tailgate the tailgater.” Gradually the two witnesses catch on to the CGI nature of what they’re seeing. “The MINI Clubman. No Fake. Now available as the Mini One Clubman.”

Good to see a viral not taking themselves too seriously.
