Mercedes-Benz Nederland B.V. are promoting their Bas Plus (Brake Assist System) with a motionography follow up to their award-winning print advertising campaign, “The First Brake to Read the Street“.
A journey in the dark uses words to reveal raindrops, one lane roads, tunnels, subways, and finally a child and ball.

The First Brake to Read the Street campaign was developed at BBDO Germany by chief creative officer Toygar Bazarkaya, creative director Ton Hollander, copywriters Markus Steinkemper and Toni Selzer, art director Sven Klasen.
Production for the Child ad was done at Sesucht, Hamburg, by director/animator Mate Steinforth, animators Tom Abel, Lasse Claussen, Hannes Geiger, Christian Heyde, producers Felix Martens, Karsten Müller.
Music was composed by Thomas Kisser at Wake Up Music.
