McDonalds and Heye Group in Germany continue to win awards for their outdoor advertisement, “Freshness Box Salad”. This poster, with what appears to be fresh salad vegetables and condensation, changes a bus shelter into a section in the refrigerator. The poster was placed in Wiener Platz, a place known for its food markets, in Haidhausen, a district of Munich. The outdoor ad won a Silver Outdoor Lion at Cannes International Advertising Festival in June 2008, and a Gold award at the Montreux International Advertising and Media Festival in April 2009.
The Freshness Box Salad was developed at Heye Group, Unterhaching, Munich, by executive creative directors Alexander Bartel, Martin Kiessling, creative director Ralph Taubenberger, art directors Henning Janzen, Frank Widmann, art director Rosina Bischur, account supervisors Carina Eickmann, Kai Lapinski, advertiser’s supervisor Markus Pichler, media officer Marcus Emrsic, creative Mathias Remmling and concept artist Frank Widmann.
