Maglite in Art Museum
GMT Imports have launched a new print and out of home advertising campaign for Maglite torches in France, featuring their use by security guards. In 2007 the Los Angeles Police Department reviewed their order for flashlights after an incident in which a police officer used a Maglite torch as a weapon. After seeing this print advertisement, art museum guards will be checking on just how powerful their torches are.
“Museum”, launched on April 30, 2009, was developed at Ogilvy & Mather, Paris, France, by executive creative director Chris Garbutt, copywriter Arnaud Vanhelle, art director Benoît Raynert, account supervisor Elie Sic-Sic, advertiser’s supervisor Dominique Ditte, account manager Julie Goutheraud, and photographer Garry Simpson.
