La Maison En Petits Cubes, also known as House of Small Cubes, is one of the nominations for Best Short Film (Animated) at the Academy Awards 2009. The 12 minute film, shot by Japanese director Kunio Kato, tells the story of an old man adapting his life in a world gradually flooding with water.
