Johnnie Walker Fish

Johnnie Walker’s tag line, “Keep Walking”, was given an evolutionary twist in the 2003 classic TV advert, “Fish”. The television commercial showed a shoal of dolphin-like beings moving from shoal to free swimming mode, before arriving on land.

Johnnie Walker Man Fish

The spot begins with what appears to be a shoal of small fish. It becomes apparent that these are in fact people, who can swim like dolphins, frolicking in the waves and diving through the depths. The Fish spot was filmed off the coast of South Australia, with professional divers swimming with ropes tied around their waists, yanked out of the water by rigs and pulleys on boats.

Amazing Ad! It would be great if we could find the “making of” video of this ad!

There’s a slight inaccuracy on this. Mark Hunter was not the CD on this. He covered the production after we’d left.
Coming up with the idea, script development, selling in to client, chosing of director had all happened before Mark came in to help out.

You have wonderful activities and amazing pictures. We, like you, admire the wonderful creature that we all call it dolphin. We even invented a device that be ensnared by almost any type of vessel, you hold it and it gives you the opportunity to swim and feel like a dolphin.
We would be happy if you enter our website to be impressed by our activities, and will be in touch.

    Thanks a lot – Hanan
