Harvey Nichols Mannequins Bracing for Winter Sale
The Harvey Nichols sale in December 2008 was promoted with an award winning print advertising campaign featuring four very worried mannequins, crouching, standing, lying and kneeling. The Winter 2008 sale opened on Saturday 27 December and ran through to Tuesday 30 December.
The Scared campaign was developed at DDB London by executive creative director Jeremy Craigen, head of art Grant Parker, art director Rob Messeter, copywriter Mike Crowe and photographer Giles Revell and designer/model maker Andy Knight.
The campaign won Silver and Bronze at the 2009 Advertising Creative Circle Awards, for Best Newspaper Campaign and Best Poster Campaign, two Silver 2009 CLIO awards for Retail (single and campaign) and a Bronze at The One Show 2009 for Point Of Purchase and In-Store advertising.
