The Virgin of Guadalupe (Spanish: Virgen de Guadalupe) is Mexico’s most popular religious and cultural image, representing an appearance of Mary, the mother of Jesus, to Juan Diego on the hill of Tepeyac in 1531. The feast day of Our Lady of Guadalupe is December 12.
Happy Birthday Guadalupe tells a spooky tale of lost love set in the desert, filled with otherworldly spirits, angels, skeletons and Luke Perry as a wandering cowboy.
