Greenpeace Inspiring Global Action
Greenpeace has launched a video for Earth Day in an attempt to turn 3 million people into climate activists. In a message to supporters the environmental action group has called for a global push to get national leaders to attend the UN Summit on Climate Change in Copenhagen.
“There are ample reasons for despair. But many years ago, one of our activists bagged a quote from another famous activist, and summed up the Greenpeace ethos: “The optimism of the action is better than the the pessimism of the thought.”
