Augsburger Allgemeine, a major Bavarian daily German newspaper, demonstrates the importance of reading newspapers with a series of print advertisements featuring well known German men, Karl Benz (Mercedes Benz), Adolf Dassler (Adidas) and Joseph Ratzinger (Pope Benedict XVI). Add to that one story focused on a group of Englishmen, the Beatles, who became news in Hamburg. “Global News Starts As Local News”.
