Union Bank of India promoted the running of joint bank accounts with a print advertising campaign featuring one of India’s most well known couple: Mohandas Karamchand (Mahatma) Gandhi and Kasturba Gandhi on India’s 100 Rupee note. Today is Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday.
Also featured in the campaign are braham Lincoln and Mary Ann Todd Lincoln on the US 5 Dollar note, and Mao Zedong and Jiang Qing on China’s 100 Yuan note.
