Engelleri Kaldir Removing Barriers

Engelleri Kaldir Removing Barriers Movement marked World Disability Day, December 3, this year with a series of print advertisements and posters reminding people in Turkey about the need to remove barriers to movement for the disabled. A road, a toilet and a sidewalk with an open drain, and a pedestrian crossing are presented as potential barriers for people with disabilities.

  • DeuxDoppel

Interesting the double play on the word “movement” – referring to freedom of movement for the disabled, and the movement of people agitating to change their society.
