Crimestoppers Remain Anonymous in Vancouver
Greater Vancouver Crime Stoppers is a non profit community based crime solving program working in conjunction with the police, the media and the public to help make your community a safer place in which to live.
Perpetrators of gang violence, purse snatching and armed holdups are shown clearly alongside victims and witnesses whose identities has been blurred. What makes Crime Stoppers unique is that tipsters do not have to give their name or testify in court. There is no call display operating on the anonymous tip phone line 1-800-222-8477 or online tip site, www.solvecrime.ca.
The Crimestoppers campaign was developed at DDB Canada, Vancouver, by chief creative officers Alan Russell and Cosmo Campbell, creative director Dean Lee, copywriter Neil Shapiro, art directors Dan Strasser and Colin Hart, account manager Kyle Stewart, agency proiducer Gayle Robson, photographer Philip Jarmain, with retouching done at The Orange Apple. Prepress house was Studio 17.
