CNN Turk in Istanbul claims to have a 99 percent accurate weather report, according to this award winning print advertising campaign developed at DDB & Co, Istanbul. “Lightning”, “Meadow” and “Clouds” each feature a vertical strip which covers the other one percent in the forecast.
The Weather campaign was developed at DDB & Co, Istanbul, by creative director/copywriter Karpat Polat, art director Leandro Camara, account manager Ela Gokkan, account executives Ozlem Delikanli, Filiz Rezazade, Serkan Mustafaoglu and typographer Mehmet Hasilci.
The campaign won a Crystal Apple in Turkey, while Lightning won a Golden Drum award in Slovenia this month. Lightning and Meadow won Silver Press Lions at Cannes 2009.
