Canon is running “Beyond The Still”, a television commercial featuring the Canon 5D Mark II digital SLR camera, connecting with their sponsorship of NFL. Five still shots burst into life, demonstrating the moving nature of photography. The ad features a photographer’s (Canon 5D Mark II) eye view of a family heading out to enjoy a day out at a San Diego Chargers NFL game. What if a moment standing still could be just as beautiful when it breathes?

Beyond The Still was developed at Grey Advertising New York by chief creative director Tor Myhren, creative director Ari Halper and Stephen Krauss, and group executive producer James McPherson.
Post production was done at Moving Picture Company by producer Andrew Bell, VFX supervisors Franck Lambertz and Daniel Sanders, VFX team Ryan Knowles, Ben Davidson, Bruno Fukumothi & Kim Stevenson, and colorist Mark Gethin.
