Budweiser Clydesdales in 2009

Anheuser Busch continued with the Clydesdale horses theme at the Super Bowl 2009, with three commercials, “Stick”, “Circus” and “Generations”. The Clydesdale horse is now much more numerous in the United States than in its home of origin in Scotland. They became associated with Anheuser Busch brewery in St Louis during the Great Depression.

Circus

Daisy, a world famous dancing horse, is dragged away from the love of her life, a Clydesdale horse. Aint no mountain high will stop them from being together…

Stick

Dalmatian dogs go together with Clydesdales in the Budweiser world. Here a horse watches and learns as a Dalmatian plays fetch with his master.

Generations

Jake’s ancestral story starts in Scotland in 1933, with strength, triumph and oats. Life in New York City doesn’t prove easy for the immigrant Clydesdale. However Great Grandpa finds his true calling pulling the Budweiser wagon.
