Bridgestone presents Mr & Mrs Potatohead, the stars of their Super Bowl commercial, Taters. Mr Potatohead, a driver who wants to get the best out of his car, is only too pleased with the performance of his tires under pressure as his yellow Pontiac Solstice stops for a flock of sheep.

Bridgestone provided viewers with a 13 second teaser on their YouTube channel, with the question, “Will Tragedy Strike?”


The Taters ad was developed at The Richards Group, Dallas, by art director Kiran Koshy, copywriter Jack Westerholt and agency producer JR Dixon.

Filming was shot by Daniel Kleinman of Rattling Stick, London, and bicoastal Epoch Films, with director of photography Paul Cameron.

Editor was Steve Gandofi at Cut + Run. VFX and animation was done at Framestore, London. Colorist was Matt Turner at Company 3.

Sound was designed by Johnnie Burn at Wave. Music was produced at Stimmung.
