Animation was directed by Steve Baker, Brisbane, Australia, represented by Head Pictures. Imaginary Friend can be seen in quicktime at Head Pictures. Original music is by Benjamin P. Dougherty.

The short film bears some resemblance to the American television series, “Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends” whose central character is named Bloo. Baker, however, satisfied the Tropfest organisers that he had made the film without being aware of the other animation.
