An Imaginary Friend
Steve Baker’s animated short film, An Imaginary Friend, is being featured on YouTube’s Screening Room, providing a new audience for the video after its win at Tropfest 2007. “For an imaginary friend living an imaginary life… there’s nothing worse than being forgotten”.
Childhood home movies show a boy happily playing with his imaginary friend. But what happens when he grows up and forgets his longtime companion? Life must go on…

The short film bears some resemblance to the American television series, “Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends” whose central character is named Bloo. Baker, however, satisfied the Tropfest organisers that he had made the film without being aware of the other animation.
