BETA, Beirut for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, is running a billboard and magazine print advertising campaign encouraging the adoption of dogs as pets. Canine behaviour is contrast with the behaviour of human children and teenagers, with “Playboy”, “Smoking” and “Escape”. “You won’t come home to this. Adopt a dog.”
“You might come home to a juicy lick. With dirty paws. That’s the dirtiest it would get with dogs, unlike children. When you adopt one of our rescued pets at BETA your only surprises will be pleasant ones.”
The Beta Adopt an Adult Dog campaign was developed at Leo Burnett, Beirut, Lebanon, by creative directors Bechara Mouzannar, Chermine Assadian, art directors Nayla Moubarak, Joumana Ibrahim, copywriters Rana Najjar, Alex Kent, and illustrator Tiago Hoisel, Sao Paulo.
