Telecom‘s partnership with Yahoo! in New Zealand (yahoo!xtra) was launched in 2007 with a television advertising campaign, “When X Meets Y”. The TV ad featured here shows a couple enjoying a lingering kiss to the sounds of Regina Spektor‘s track, Fidelity. “Good things happen when X Meets Y”. Xtra is the name of the internet service provider formed by Telecom New Zealand in 1999.
