Women condemned to feel nothing
AMAM, the Asociación de Mujeres Anti Mutilación, (Association of Women Against Mutilation) has commissioned a series of print advertisements raising awareness of the impact of genital mutilation. “More than 140 million women in the world are condemned to feel nothing”. Plastic dolls from a range of ethnic types are shown with wide open mouths, contrasted with young girls who are still unscathed.
The campaign was developed at Contrapunto BBDO, Barcelona, Spain, by creative director Tomas Oliva and Carlos De Javier, copywriter Marta Caseny and art director Lucas Jatobá, with photography from Carles Nin, Eduardo Colesi and Corbis.
