Novartis Consumer Health promoted Voltaren Pain Relief Gel with a series of award-winning print advertisements developed in Switzerland and Italy. “Voltaren – When Everyday Movements Seem Impossible”. We’re shown the exaggerated lengths of a pair of trousers, with shoelaces at the end, a cot with a baby, a dining room table with cheese at the end, a sofa with a remote control, and a cupboard with a jar of jam.
The Voltaren campaign was developed at Saatchi & Saatchi, Milan and Saatchi & Saatchi Simko Geneva by executive creative directors John Pallant, Roger Kennedy, Olivier Girard, Jean-François Fournon, creative directors Guido Cornara, Agostino Toscana, copywriter Giovanni Salvaggio, art director Williams Tattoli, art buyer Rossana Coruzzi, account supervisors Stephanie Rupp, Carolyn Dateo, advertiser’s supervisor Philippe Zell, with photography by John Parker and retouching by Clive Biley.
The campaign won a Silver Press Lion at Cannes 2008.
