Volkswagen promoted the range of trucks with a set of print advertisements using cartons normally used for eggs, milk, vegetables (tomatoes and eggplants) and beer. “Volkswagen Trucks. For every kind of load.”
The Volkswagen Trucks Boxes campaign was developed at ALMAPBBDO, Sao Paulo, Brazil, by executive creative director Marcello Serpa, creative directors Luiz Sanches and Dulcidio Caldeira, copywriter Eduardo Andrietta, art directors Marcus Kawamura and Ary Nogueira, account supervisor Fernao Cosi, advertiser’s supervisor Ana Maria Oliveira, photographer Hugo Treu and typographer Jose Roberto Bezerra.
The campaign won a Silver Press Lion at Cannes International Advertising Festival 2008.
