Catholic charity St Vincent de Paul (known as Vinnies) launched a winter fund raising campaign in Australia using photography taken by homeless and unemployed people actually helped by the campaign. Simon, Sonya and Tom show us their friends, where they get together for a feed, the kitchen, and the sleeping quarters.
“This time it’s personal”, we’re told. We’re reminded that homeless and unemployed people are not statistics but sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, mums and dads.

The Winter Appeal campaign was developed at Clemenger BBDO Sydney by creative director Richard Maddocks, associate creative director Guy Rooke, creatives Will Edwards and Chris McMullen, agency producer Denise McKeon.
Filming was edited by Joe Morris and produced at Primecuts. Sound was designed by Andrew Stevenson.
