VIFF We’re Glad You’re Here

Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF) ran a series of trailers before each film this year, thanking a variety of people who are often forgotten at such events. A voice over expresses appreciation for the people who thoroughly prepare in advance, those who join their friends to see foreign films against their better judgment, those who bravely ask the first question at Director Q&A sessions.

Each of the eight trailers followed the vote of thanks with a list of credits for companies who had supported the festival. The festival ran from September 25 to October 10. The campaign was linked with an interactive online game, Elbow Wars.
