Hall’s Throaties are presented as the lozenges for people in desperate need of voice in this print advertising campaign from New Zealand. When the stranded superhero, knifing victim and Indiana Jones sort need help, their voice bubbles are woefully inadequate.
The print campaign was supplemented with a video in which a woman confronted with a knife finds she has lost her scream.
The Throaties Find Your Voice campaign was developed at DDB New Zealand by executive creative director Toby Talbot, copywriter Christie Cooper, art director James Conner, account service team Sophie Martignier, Keri Aves and Greg Jones, with illustration done at The Craft Shop.
The campaign won DDB the Caxton Newspaper Ad of the Year award this year.
