The Wrong Man Billboards

SKY Movies in New Zealand promoted the 2006 movie, The Wrong Man, with a billboard featuring deliberate mistakes over three weeks in the billing, crediting first John Travolta, Steven Seagal and then the Duke of Edinburgh. Pictured on the billboard was Bruce Willis, who in fact did appear in the movie.

The Wrong Man campaign was developed at DDB Auckland by executive creative director Toby Talbot, art director Pete Thompson, copywriter Paul Hankinson, group account director Rose Thompson and senior account manager Danielle Richards.

The 2006 movie, directed by Paul McGuigan, is also known as “Lucky Number Slevin” and stars Josh Hartnett, Bruce Willis, Lucy Liu, Morgan Freeman and Ben Kingsley.
