Taco Bell is promoting the new value meal, Fiesta Platters, with an ad at the Super Bowl 2008. Two guys rush through an office to a lunch meeting carrying their lunch with them. They’re met by a three guitar-playing Mexicans, or Mariachi, who insist with an hola that they must sit down and enjoy their Taco Bell Fiesta Platter. A female office worker is encouraged to join the fiesta with a wink and one more ‘hola’.

Fiesta Platters include either two premium soft tacos or a Grilled Stuft Burrito, made with Grilled marinated all-white-meat Chicken or Carne Asada Steak, beans, rice and a side of tortilla chips and tangy salsa. “At a time when consumers are looking for creative ways to stretch their dollars, our delicious new Fiesta Platters deliver a premium, sit-down restaurant meal on the go for less than five dollars,” said David Ovens, chief marketing officer, Taco Bell Corp. “We’re out to prove that real meals don’t just come in bags, and that with Fiesta Platters you can get it quickly, but take the time you want to sit down and enjoy. We call it get it fast, eat it slow.”
