Cadbury Schweppes has launched the new Solo Strong soft drink in Australia with a light hearted commercial in the same vein as “Man Cans“. The campaign is online at www.oneandahalftimestheman.com.au

The Man Cans campaign was developed at The Furnace, Sydney, by creative director Rob Martin Murphy, copywriter/art director Luke Duggan, copywriter/art director/head of art Paul Fenton, head of broadcast Monique Pardavi, agency producer Tania Templeton.

    This ad is so crass and unimaginative – straight out of Austin Powers. I am insulted that I am forced to view it during the cricket. Did someone really get paid for doing this. It appeals to the lowest common denominater – but I guess maybe that’s who drinks Solo?
