The Shark Project in Germany is campaigning to stop the sale of shark products, in part as a response to the dangerous levels of methyl mercury found in many shark meats. The campaign materials in English and German languages can be found online at www.stop-sales.com. “Every year 200 million sharks fall prey to humans. Save the shark or the ocean will die.”
The campaign was developed at Y&R Germany, Frankfurt, by creative directors Horst Becker and Christian Daul, copywriter Lothar Mueller, art director Norbert Huebner, account supervisor Jessica Georgi, working with Sharkproject marketing manager Gerhard Wegner.
