Sharks Under Danger From Humans
The Shark Project in Germany is campaigning to stop the sale of shark products, in part as a response to the dangerous levels of methyl mercury found in many shark meats. The campaign materials in English and German languages can be found online at www.stop-sales.com. “Every year 200 million sharks fall prey to humans. Save the shark or the ocean will die.”
The campaign was developed at Y&R Germany, Frankfurt, by creative directors Horst Becker and Christian Daul, copywriter Lothar Mueller, art director Norbert Huebner, account supervisor Jessica Georgi, working with Sharkproject marketing manager Gerhard Wegner. Photography was by Stefanos Notopoulos (Human Face) and Doug Perrine (Shark).
