Planters Cashews Manstinctively Good

Planters is promoting cashews as the new sexy perfume in a spot launched at the Super Bowl 2008. A young femme fatale, dressed in pink, with a unibrow and green eye shadow, leads men to their doom to the sounds of Frankie Valli singing “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You”. The campaign leads the online site, Every girl’s got a secret and this girl’s no different. What could be so compelling that causes the fellas to be so drawn to her?

Manstincts was developed at DraftFCB, New York, by executive creative directors Terri Meyer and Sandy Greenberg, executive producer Paddy Giordano, creative directors Rob Rooney, Noah Davis and Howie Ronay.

“Can’t Take My Eyes Off You”, was written by Bob Crewe and Bob Gaudio and made into a hit by Frankie Valli’s 1967 single. Subsequently the song has been covered by Andy Williams, Lauryn Hill, and countless other singers.
