Pause Unusually Big Film Experiences
Pause Ljud & Bild (Sound & Image) presents the “Unusually Big Film Experiences”, an advertising campaign promoting the audio visual capacity provided by its stores in Sweden. Pause CEO Fredrik Hjelmquist, along with members of his staff, recreated four classic movies, Saving Private Ryan, The Matrix, Titanic and A Clockwork Orange, so that they’d be able to talk to clients about experiencing film. The idea is to move the focus from the product to the store, from performance to the experience and from the gadget crazy to film crazy. Still images from the remakes were used in a print advertising campaign shown here, the winner of a Bronze at the Epica Awards 2008.

The Unusually Big Film Experiences campaign was developed at Åkestam Holst, Stockholm, by copywriter Mark Ardelius, art directors Andreas Ullenius and Johan Landin, account supervisor Kenneth Adenskog, with photography and retouching by Sven Prim.
Pause staff appearing in the campaign include Frederik Hjelmquist, Alexander Tuovinen, Christer Planborg, Peter Ericksson, Anders Bergkvist, and Stefan Carlstedt.
